Everyone was excited to start telling the world about this new sea travel brand by Richard Branson. There was only one small problem. We didn’t have a product - the ship was not fully built yet. Still, we decided to set up a temporary site, solely using copy and some simple layouts, offering Virgin enthusiasts a chance to “get on the list” to be first to book. Well, this short-lived, simple deposit site worked, and we were able to secure nearly 750K in deposits, before even having a product to market. Not so shabby. Below are some clips from that site.
